See the world, framed in wonder™

What is Beauty In Aperture?

A visual journey celebrating the quiet poetry of everyday life—whether it’s people, pets, plates, places, plants, or paraphernalia. Our work invites you to pause, look closely, and discover beauty in the overlooked.

What do you photograph?

We capture:

  • People: emotive portraits that reveal character and story

  • Pets: playful, soulful moments of our animal companions

  • Plates: thoughtfully styled food still‑life that sparks appetite and curiosity

  • Places: landscapes and locales, framed to evoke wanderlust and wonder

  • Plants: botanical details that reveal texture, pattern, life

  • Paraphernalia: objects that carry meaning—an ode to small things held dear

Where are you based - and do you travel?

We're based in New York, but the work isn't bound by geography. Whether it's a sunlit studio, your favorite corner café, or a field halfway across the world, we're happy to meet you there. We partner with individuals, brands, and creative teams across cities and seasons—travel is part of the process, and always welcome with planning.

Yes—all images receive subtle, artful editing. The goal is to enhance without erasing—preserving the essence of light, texture, and tone.

Can I use these images commercially?

Absolutely. If you’d like to license for editorial, social, or brand use, just mention it up front—and we’ll include usage rights in your quote.

What are your rates?

Approachable and tailored. Rates are based on subject, scope, and usage. Reach out with your vision and we’ll provide a thoughtful quote.

How far ahead should I book?

To ensure thoughtful planning, a 2–4 week lead time is ideal. For seasonal or location-specific sessions, longer may be best. Last-minute availability is possible—just ask!
